Revenues at the 10 largest global transaction banks in 2018 hit their highest level in eight years, according to research firm Coalition. The company said a “cash management surge and stabilization in traditional trade finance” fueled the increase. The banks’ total revenues rose 9% year over year to $31.3 billion in 2018. The strong growth trend seen in the first half of 2018 continued through to the end of the year, Coalition said.
