More Getting Views of Cash, but It Doesn’t Mean Excellence

Cash visibility is on the rise but despite this, treasurers are unhappy with how things are going.

According to the 1H 2015 Global Cash and Banking Group (GCBG) Member Survey, 74% said they had daily visibility over 90% or more of their cash, with 53% saying they had visibility of over 95%.

Unfortunately, gains in visibility are not translating into cash forecasting excellence. GCBG members rated their direct cash-flow forecasting accuracy on average a 3 on a 5-point scale.
