The NeuGroup founder and CEO rings the Nasdaq opening bell Wednesday.
Founder and CEO of The NeuGroup, Joseph Neu, along with members of The Treasurers’ Group of Mega-Caps (tMega), were honored with the opportunity to ring the opening bell on the Nasdaq exchange Wednesday. Nasdaq MarketSite is hosting the inaugural meeting of tMega, The NeuGroup for mega-cap corporate treasurers.
“The NeuGroup thanks Nasdaq for hosting the inaugural tMega meeting and giving us the rare privilege of ringing the opening bell,” said Joseph Neu. “The NeuGroup shares with Nasdaq the idea that innovation should be part of our DNA and put to use to empower people to think differently and businesses to compete more effectively.
“The NeuGroup does this by being a trusted provider of intelligence to corporate leaders in capital markets.” Joseph noted. “But, more importantly, we facilitate the exchange of insight between peers that leads to actions generating greater value for shareholders.”
The NeuGroup’s latest knowledge exchange peer group, tMega, is helping treasurers of mega-cap corporations draw on the collective experience of their peers and validate solutions to challenges they have in common. This includes effectively funding their capital plans in turbulent markets, while maintaining their desired capital structure. It also includes managing counterparty risk, as all market participants face foreign exchange and commodity price risk with a strong dollar, heightened volatility and oil under pricing pressure, as well as rate tensions with diverging central bank policy.
For more than two decades, The NeuGroup has been a trusted thought leader and respected advocate for global finance and treasury professionals. The NeuGroup leads the way in peer knowledge exchange through its flagship publication, iTreasurer, and The NeuGroup Network, which includes 18 invitation-only groups serving more than 350 treasury and finance professionals across functions, industries and global regions.
