In general respondents to the NeuGroup’s Latin American Treasurers’ Peer Group pre-meeting survey use a combination of credit ratings, CDS spreads and rating agency reports to manage their bank counterparty risk. Cumbersome documentation requirements remain a challenge for treasury managers in Latin American banking/transactions operations.
